The Home Hemodialysis TEAM

Our home dialysis team is made up of our medical director, a specialty trained home hemodialysis nurse manager with ten years of Canadian/US experience in training daily home hemodialysis and nocturnal patients, a home hemodialysis nurse instructor and a biomedical engineer with twelve years Canadian/US experience in home patient technical support, dietician support and a larger logistical support structure. However, the most important member of the team is the home training nurse. This is one individual that patients develop a certain bond and trust with. Patients can also reach all support services during the week and additional technical and clinical support 24/7. Once a month, our patients come to the clinic. During their visit, they are seen by the nephrologists, home nurse an obtain dietician and social work support.
